Meet The Founder
Ritual Glaze is a 100% female-founded startup based in Portland, Oregon. Our small team is led by owner and founder Sarah Bingham.
After retiring from her career as a court stenographer, Sarah enrolled in college at 29 as a first-generation and non-traditional student. In 2022, she graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Applied Statistics from Smith College.
Sarah's devotion to materials science emerged while working at a small ceramic supply company in Massachusetts. After graduation, Sarah returned to her hometown of Portland, Oregon to launch Ritual Glaze.
About Ritual Glaze
Meet Allison of Eteric Realm, our amazing studio tech! Allison and Sarah work together to deliver the gloopy glazes you love. Sarah personally formulates all glazes from scratch. Glazes are then hand-mixed in small batches, test fired, packaged, and shipped by our two-person team.
Ritual Glaze is committed to sustainable packaging. Our glazes come in PET recyclable pint containers, are shipped in post-consumer recycled boxes, and packaged using compostable peanuts and recyclable paper.
